Nationally acclaimed actor Frank Zotter marks his move to Edmonton in David Rubinoff's Stuck. Stuck riffs through one of the more trying nights in the life of Jack, a wannabe actor and desd-end job-expert. Will he get off the mean city streets—or just get off? Stuck exudes the vibe of Jack Kerouac and Irvine Welsh meeting a struggling artist on the very edge. A smash hit with audiences in Calgary, Toronto and L.A., this timely and provocative play is a breathtaking snapshot of the highs and lows of chasing the next quick fix. Stuck was produced by Sage Theatre in Calgary, AB, in September of 2001. Rob Moffatt directed Frank Zotter, with a sound design by Cameron Falkenhagen, stage managed by Michael Gesy. It was remounted in 2002 with Ellen Close stage managing. This production reflects a further evolution of the collaboration on David Rubinoff's script. |
