The Loud & Queer Cabaret has been blazing trails for Queer arts and culture for twenty years. As Western Canada's longest-running gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and queer performance cabaret, it has debuted more than three hundred works. It has launched the careers of emerging writers and premiered new works from some of Canada’s most renowned talents. This 20th edition of this unique partnership between Guys In Disguise and Workshop West includes two distinctive nights of programming - one traditional, and one a surprise.

Queering the Way - A Retrospective - The launch of Queering the Way: The Loud & Queer Anthology, celebrating twenty years of L&Q.
Edited by Darrin Hagen, published by Brindle & Glass, the diversity of the LGBTQ experience is at the heart of this powerful collection. Queering the Way features highlights from L&Q’s archives. This heartfelt anthology is a testament to great courage, a celebration of art, and the power of authenticity.
The L & Q Retrospective brings back to the stage some memorable pieces from L&Q’s storied history. Cast members and guests from 20 years of cabarets will reprise some of their most notorious, hilarious and poignant moments. Sit back, remember laugh, cry, enjoy and be the first to get the book!
