In a career spanning over forty years, Patricia Casey has worked as a professional actor, director, playwright, coach, teacher and adjudicator. Some experiences stand out for various reasons: among her favourite roles are those in Mad Forest, Angels in America, Prelude to a Kiss, Endgame, Steel Magnolias, Same Time Another Year, Dancing Backwards, My Mother Said I Never Should, Blood Relations, Damnee Manon, Sacree Sandra and If We Are Women. Three Viewings at Shadow Theatre was a recent highlight.
Patricia has been part of the evolution of Dry the Rain from its earliest days. She is so happy to be here, in fine company, to bring Mark Stubbings’ new work to the stage. Special thanks to Mark and to Michael Clark for promises kept.
Ms. Casey was awarded 2008's Sterling Award for Outstanding Contribution to Theatre in Edmonton.
She now lives in Toronto, close to dear family. But part of her heart stays here with so many loved and respected members of the Edmonton theatre community.
