Back with a whole new show, Mike Lynch & Cecil O'Brien take the stage to bring you (and whoever ya trick into comin') a hilarious night out, along with a gut-busting special guest host.
From The Outhouse TV and Just for Laughs Originals on Sirius XM, Mike Lynch has become a well-known face in Canadian comedy. His range of voices, storytelling and wide range of popular sketch characters has gained him an online following that continues to grow and sell out shows all across the country!

STAGE STRUCK: A ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL
April 17 & 18, 2026 at The Gateway Theatre
The Edmonton Region of the Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) proudly presents its Stage Struck! One Act Play Festival on April 17 & 18, 2026. The 2026 festival will feature nine plays covering a wide array of genres from comedy to Post-Apocalyptic Dramas. The line-up this year includes seven new works by local playwrights and two previously produced works.
The 2026 festival has three sessions, with a short public adjudication by the Festival’s Professional Adjudicator after each session. Following the Saturday evening session, awards will be presented for Outstanding Production, Outstanding Performances (2), Outstanding New Work and Outstanding Direction. There will also be a Technical Director’s award and an Alberta Playwrights’ Network prize for Outstanding New Work presented to the playwright. Each group receives a private adjudication.
The winning production from Stage Struck! 2026 will compete in the ADFA Provincial Festival, to be held May 29th and 30th in Leduc.
The Shoe Project is a national initiative that amplifies the voices of Canadian immigrant and refugee women through storytelling.

Put Your Lips Together by Louise Casemore is a surreal neon-noir about the experience of women in the workplace. It will be presented as a reading.

Dream Catchers is a joyful collection of performances curated by Gomathi Boorada that celebrates culture, imagination, and storytelling from around the world.

Rising Sun's Annual Cabaret: Skits and Giggles - A Benefit Performance
SATURDAY, MARCH 21ST, 2026
DOORS AT 6:00PM, SHOW AT 7:00PM
Join us for an evening of laughter with incredible improv, sketch comedy, and circus performances from talented Edmonton artists!
Skits and Giggles is a comedic cabaret that features performances from talented Edmonton favourites such as: HAM, Aytahn Ross, and Rapid Fire Theatre improvisers Ali Shahin, Matt Kusmire, and Logan Teske. In the lobby, the well known and loved Simon Glassman will be doing caricatures for the public.
Patrons can join us starting at 6pm for a lobby social. Light refreshments will be provided, and we will have a silent auction in the lobby. Patrons are welcome to join us for an evening of laughter and community!!
Paid parking available. Funds raised from this performance go towards our mainstage production later in June!
