Dark Mondays - a series of wine&cheese VIP events was launched by Managing Director Martin Galba during our 2025–26 Season and quickly became an audience favourite at Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre. These informal, behind-the-scenes evenings offer a closer look at what’s happening at WWPT, with candid conversations with playwrights and artists about the work on our stages. We pull back the curtain on the many elements that bring theatre to life—from sets, costumes, lighting and sound to technology, rehearsal processes and the practical realities of producing theatre. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, explore how theatre is made, and help demystify the process for audiences and artists alike.
