JOSH GREYVENSTEIN
PLAYWRIGHT

Josh Greyvenstein is a playwright, educator and artist located on Treaty Six land. He has studied at the University of British Columbia and University of Alberta. In his work, he tries to come to grips with the moral codes and material conditions that we have inherited, trying to call attention to the moral atrocities that settlers of this land condone.

I Inherited the Harvest takes place in a town wealthier than any before it, yet atrocities unsettle the citizens of this town just beyond its windows. As the institutions that once defined the community begin to tear apart, one family clings to the old ways of living. A gothic drama about domestic life and the moral codes that we inherit being proven false.
