Monica (@monicaagate) is an actor, producer, educator, and playwright based in amiskwaciwâskahikan. A lover of new works and beating-other-countries-at-being-good-at-things, she is very excited to be joining the Springboards team to highlight the incredible artists in our community. Monica loves workshopping new work, asking questions we can't answer, and failing better each time. Select acting credits include: Two Battles of Francis Pegahmagabow (Shadow Theatre), After The Trojan Women (Alma Theatre/Common Ground Arts), Little Crow and Magpie (Concrete Theatre), and Strife - Workshop(Punctuate! Theatre). She is currently leading Rising Sun Theatre as their new General Manager, and is excited to be joining Punctuate! Theatre as their incoming Creative Hub Producer.
