Nathaniel Tesfaye is a multidisciplinary theatre artist based in Edmonton, working as an actor, director, playwright, and educator. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alberta and is starting his Master of Arts this fall. His acting experience includes commercial television projects as well as university showcases and readings with Nextfest and Workshop West. He has directed scenes and new work including Isis (2025) and most recently I Inherited the Harvest (2026). As a writer, he has developed original scripts presented in staged readings and festivals, including Dragon at Midnight (2021). Nathaniel has trained in vocal performance, improvisation, and acting intensives, and has worked as an instructor at Foote Theatre School since 2022. His practice centres on collaborative creation, arts education, and community-based storytelling.
