Meet Pamela!
PAMELA SCHMUNK
DIRECTOR
Pam’s original Drama training was at University of Saskatchewan under Henry Woolf (1980-1985). At the U of A, Pam earned her Bachelor of Education with Distinction (1992) and Master of Arts (2006). Pam taught Drama and directed youth productions for thirty plus years for Edmonton Public Schools (Crestwood, Ross Sheppard and M.E. LaZerte) and then internationally in Bali, Indonesia; Jiaxing, China; and Taipei, Taiwan. Favorite directorial projects include A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Edinburgh Fringe 2010); Urinetown (LaZerte 2013); Arabian Nights (Bali 2018); and an epic English-Mandarin Wizard of Oz (Jiaxing 2018). Based now in Edmonton, Pam teaches at the Citadel’s Foote Theatre School. She splits her time between yoga, choir, travel, photography, teaching, family and theatre.
